STEEL SHOTS
To improve the smoothness and precision of steel shots, they
must be polished by passing them through a rough grinding
machine and then a lapping machine. A lapping machine uses
abrasive compounds to remove the final layer of steel from the
shot, ensuring its smooth appearance. This process can take
several hours per batch, and the exact finishing time will
depend on the precision of the shot. For example, high-quality
steel shots can take a couple of days to complete.
Stainless steel cut wire shots, also called stainless steel shots, are particles produced after cutting a stainless steel wire through a conditioning process. This tempered wire comes in different conditioned forms, including double-conditioned, normal-conditioned, and special- conditioned. These stainless steel cut wire shots are used in shot peening process and are used in different industries. In addition, they are stable, safe, and rounded. For more information, read on!
